THS Media Specialist: Lauri Biegler

Adult Aide: Toni Golden

I am delighted to be able to work with such a wonderful faculty and eager student body.  Please listen to the morning announcements for the book of the week.  Students may visit the media center with a pass and permission from their teachers during class.  They may also visit during break, before school, and in-between classes.

I purchase many new books each year as funds allow.  Teachers receive a list of these books with each new shipment I obtain!  Teachers are asked to post the list in the classrooms for student access.

I have purchased two new computers for student use.  Three new computers were also added through a recent grant.

Reading is more important than ever!  Parents, please encourage your child to read for pleasure.  Even better...join in the fun with them!  During the summer please continue finding reading material through visits to the Community Library or  trips to area bookstores.

Do you need extra guidance for the reading portion of the graduation exam?  Stop by for suggestions!  One of the easiest ways to improve your reading is by READING more! Work on your comprehension by reading books and by taking AR tests on them.   Once you find the particular genre that interests you, you will be amazed at how enjoyable reading is.

Reading is a novel idea!
