I am proud to be teaching History at Tallassee High School. This is my 3rd year teaching at Tallassee and my 8th year as a public school educator. I graduated from Elmore County High School in 2002 and have spent most of my life in the Elmore County area. In addition to being a teacher, I am currently in my 13th year of service in the U.S. Army Reserve, and serve as the Commander of the 313th Army Band in Birmingham, Alabama. As an enlisted musician, I performed as a trombonist and guitarist with concert, jazz, brass quintet, show, and rock ensembles. I was mobilized for Operation Enduring Freedom from 2005 to 2007 to perform as an Army musician in support of our nation's wartime mission. In 2012, the Army bestowed upon me the distinct honor of being selected, and appointed as a Warrant Officer/Bandmaster to command the 313th. More important than my careers are my wife of 7 years and my 5 year old son. They are awesome!
